QUOTE (Amin @ Aug 29 2010, 12:27 AM) ok...maybe i'm not the right person to say this since myself also a backmarker and not there last race...but just want to express it.....I also Newb to the Simming world....maybe I offended some of you guys on the track even I felt not my fault 100%, and i accept the penalty without question...and also being Offended....but no prob for me....especially "maybe" being buttseck quite alot...but i take it as a learning point to do measure and counter....but overall nobody perfect and sh1t happen....yet i still want to enjoy immersive simming and finish the race at the end of the day...
I know not all people felt the same like me about this league ...also not to say im joining the race to trash other ppl races... My point is Just Enjoy simming!!...not to put more stress on your daily routine....
haihh.....mintak2 le next race stimyx xjadi berukkkbandd.....xde le last minute dc lagi...atleast dpt spectate korg race pn jadi la...hehehe... Amin, there is one thing else when you are thrusted into the championship, it's different feeling already, when you are used to winning, racing becomes ur passion.. hihihi when you are passionate, you take things very seriously, that is just those alien at the front now with zul, nittin and anton... But I do understand the fact about the guys who want to enjoy simming, I've been there too. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Previously before the new alien zul and anton and nittin arrived, if the grid is fully laden with aliens in, dzariq, boss, mara, ryugan, and few others, Im geared up, Im so serious and if the rest of the field take things lightly I will be the first one to speak out. You can enjoy simming, I did that previously too, but enjoy and not care is different. How can you enjoy simming by breaking the rules, that is not enjoying, that is ignorance at play. For example, some say the just want to enjoy, when ask, oh i dont know the braking spot for turn one yet, but i just participate just to enjoy, i dont remember the pitlane entry yet, so I collide with you in the race. Previosuly, those people understand what enjoy and bringing harm to other mean, when im in the server previously, those who have no practice, I politely ask you to leave the server. Most of them understand that, hence the previous culture, if i dont know the way yet, I better not join... |

cool guys, my opinion is just this, when a lapping an incinsistent backmarker, you must be very patient, you must wait till a place where he will noticed you. And you have to kinda let him know, hey dude im here, for some seconds already., i wannna pass u later, things like that. In MSR i learn that it's a must to learn every driver behavior....
for exampple, with evo, you can bang straight and lapped him, he gives you room consistently when being lapped, when anton is beside u he will divebomb, so u better let him know with some that im on the outside or maybe you brake earlier. I mean things like that, I dont see what happen to zul, and I dont comment on that. Im saying things generally, but some backmarkers must improve their consistency so that we can predict their movement. Some backmarkers brake when we toe them on the strights, OMG, that is bad, u brake when people is not toeing you, when people toe you, u dont let off your thorttle, when he moves outside only you let your throtlle, and one more, you dont brake and give away, you off the thorrtlle and give way....and stick with one line, just let the leaders choose the line he wants. dont change lines last minute. Leaders cant predit u. And for leaders, you must give at least a corner to let the backmarkes know ur presence.... |

QUOTE (Aeon_Clock @ Aug 21 2010, 01:51 PM) wow, didn't know you kept such records. basically MSR started in 2006. Most of them...especially Mara, Ryugan, PCcrazy, Evohahn, Madnoren...have joined since then. Others joined later on. As for how long they exactly have been racing, it could be centuries ago (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tatice_03.gif) I started simming with GP 2 that was back in 1999 something like that. That is when I learn all the basics of car control with a keyboard. Understanding the concept and all. in 2006 when i first started real simming in MSR, I bought a steering wheel, a momo, it didn't take me long because I knew the concept, Ive been analyzing driving videos for years. Although I won the championship at first attempt, I was never as good as I am now. I'm improving in every sense of the way, not really in the skill department, but in the race craft department The concept of driving has been ingrained in me since 1999, with mouse and keyboard I learn precision driving and realize what throttle control is in relation to the steering wheel and brakes. |

QUOTE (maranello55 @ Aug 3 2010, 05:08 PM) True, but it takes more than adaptability to be a F1 WDC, as per ur list.
Certainly one of the criterion. But there are far more variables/factors involved in winning races. Drivers ability/skills alone wont guarantee it. A good example, as talented as Schumi is, he wont be a 7 times WDC if he do not make the effort to create a team around him, work hard in testing with the Bridgestone guys (which is the key factor of his success) and dwelve deep into the technical details.
With gap between drivers now are very small, it takes these extra effort to pip the rival. agree, yup |

QUOTE (maranello55 @ Aug 3 2010, 04:47 PM) Webber might not be as natural as the three. But he is compensating that with pure hard work. That is better if not equivelant to pure talent sitting back and let everything happens by itself. Yeah, agree. But those three I mentioned, not only work hard, but have natural talent, so they can quickly adapt to changes far better then their opponents |
