im currently using a belkin modem+wireless router at home (currently wired to my desktop)

also just yesterday got my streamyx on.

however when im online (do take note that modem does not DC) the connection somewhat disconnect and connect for a split second for a few times. Meaning that while im in a game i can get DCed just by that effect alone.

A simpler example would be in my YM. I have set the ym to auto sign-in. So once a while the ym would get dc hence signing off, in a sec after it auto signs in back again. Any explanation guys????

the network in your area is not stable. Same with mine, altho mine would be stable at night.

i mean the modem doesnt DC on urs as well is it linkin? I know mine doesnt as the ip doesnt change everytime "it" happens

Try to test with another network cable. It may not be that but I've been banging my head on walls more than once to try to debug an application that doesn't work, and ended up finding that the problem was due to a faulty cable :lol:
