Need or Speed: Shift is being developed by Slightly Mad Studios, whose previous titles (under the moniker "Blimey! Games") include racing simulators like GT Legends and GTR 2 -- games that are generally ranked among the upper echelons of racing simulators.

Ok sounds like fun...but wheres the simulation part, apart of cosmetics and graphics?

NFS has hit its end. It used to be a good racing game. But now its either this nor that. Sad.

Sim part is the physics, it's develop by GTR2 and GTL makers...itu ajer

how abt if they combine d NFS n sim? all those effects, comsmetics but with sim physics? i wonder wat it will turn out..

I think NFS franchise is more targetted to those who r looking for short learning curve game. But yeah. Wut a combination that would be. GT5 is the closest altho i HATE the car sound in GT series. Many times i slept while driving in GT4....its a shame they cant bring up the sound dept to the level of their graphics which is superb.

look what i've found just now. NFS is undoubtly one of the very 1st game i've played. the 1st NFS is undoubtly the greatest..... and EA need to bring its gameplay back. just imagine NFS 1 Gameplay + cops + car tuning factor + real physic + real damage + lots and lots and lots of traffic + point A to B tracks + NFS 1 gameplay oops.... ! the very 1st NFS would always be my no 1 driving game ever .... :P

look at the 1st segment of the video and you will know why i love the 1st gen NFS

i thnk if u put real physics in NFS, with lotsa cops, lotsa traffic..wow.. real test 2 d drivers dun u thnk? :P

What they really need to do is to bring back the driveable Cop Car and Cop Pursuit mode of the earlier NFS.

The fact they took away one of the most enjoyable gameplay elements of the early NFS shows how jaded some of the EA people have become.
