for new comer or just downloaded, set anonymous, your nickname.

suggestion
if you using headphone, use voice activation.
if you using speakers.with stand alone mic use 'push to talk key' to avoid unnecessary sound activate the voice activation mic.its really annoys others to hear that crap sound.or else we just muted the client.
i just set [alt] key, for voice activate, to speak. just like walkie talkie.
