Has anyone got a good book to recommend? I'm eyeing on this Speed Secrets: Professional Race Driving Techniques and planning to get one. :P

I have tat book and the second one. Very good. For a layman, non-engineering background ppl like me, its easy to understand book and communicates with u very well.

I previewed the second one and I sort of feel that it focuses more on to the career side rather than more tips and advice. Any comments on this?

I have that guide too, but it doesn't cover much psychologically. :lol:

The second book is the one ure looking for. If ure in with the driving part, the second book takes u deeper. Also takes u on the psychological part. Some points on the career chapter also can be used if ure in a league or in competition with ur rivals.

Some are true to real world racing. But most of them draws parallel to sim counterpart.

Sure ah? Even if I started off with the second one I can still understand? I mean like isn't it book 2 is a continuation from book 1?

Book 1 is abt the basics. Thats why i say if ure in with the basics of cars and driving, book 2 should be no problem.
