My car slow speed kona got 'tak' sound already. just one 'tak' on the right side, when slow turning to the left. And sometimes when taking bumps at slow spped. I suspect its d absrber mount. u guys thnik?

That setting locked la...stock absorber...lol. Ya i know anton knows alot....hope this is a start of a good thread.

could possible be it. Have a check on the coil spring as well.

Could be a number of things. Could be your CV joint. Could be your absorber mounting. You just can't pinpoint by the sound alone and they won't know for sure until they check the undersides.

My CV joint and one of the front absorbers had to be replaced recently but the symptom at the start is just a 'tak' sound as you described during turns but it got progressively louder and worse. And then the steering began to 'lari'and we found the tie-rod also needed replacing, but it wasn't the tie-rod making the sound. It was more the CV joint.

Yup....could be cv joint as well...I've changed both frnt absorbers recently too.

Does the 'tak' sound when u turn both sides or one specific side? At a certain steering angle?

Anyways to be sure have to go n check...hate to send my car coz need to take time off fr office....sat and sun is out of the way coz workshops will be packed then.

In my case, initially, it was only during left turns. But when the thing begun to deteriorate more and more, it also manifested itself on right turns. It's more pronounced the sharper the steering angle. Less so on shallow angles. Also it was dependent on how I put on the gas. If I squeeze on the gas really gingerly coming out of a turn, I can get away from having the car making audible complaints. But if I don't feather it, it goes 'tak! tak! tak! tak!'.

It's something you need to get checked whether you like it or not. I just bit the bullet and left the car with my mechanics because it got to the point that it was affecting my confidence in the vehicle's safety and I never like the idea of the car losing it during a turn. Just a very uncomfortable feeling of car going "tak! tak!" on a turn

Tak tak tak tak....Usually laisap sula kong....itu laisap ok tp itu kepala sula kong...

tak.........tak...........tak..... a sign of damaged bush, wear, nut rattle, tulang anjing probably, been to the alignment shop recently???
