Hi Guys,

Most of all of u know that i'm really new* :( here...also to sim world...since you guys talks alot bout telemetry...can you guys teach me from A-Z...from installing to how to read the telemetry from Motec?? :( hopefully i'm not pain in the 4$$ for you guys... :P

The setting up of MoTec by EOAA is a bit confusing tome, so I just stick to SimHQ's instructions. Otherwise, the EOAA link has some useful tips about getting ideal tyre pressures.

Have fun. I'm still learning how to use this software. It's quite helpful and informative once you get into it.

Actually, you can use the latest Motec i2 Pro (I use 1.05) but you need to patch the Data Acquisition Plugin for rfactor. I found that the latest motec i2 pro is lot more stable + IIRC the i2 pro version 1.02 does not work on win 7 x64 (I forgot if the problem is the "x64" or the "Win 7").

Install:
1) Data Acquisition Plugin (DAP) v1.3.2 for rfactor: http://www.jaconference.com/MSR/rFactorDAQ...Setup_1.3.2.exe
2) DAP Patch to work with latest Motec i2 Pro: http://www.jaconfere...A-1.3.2.0_patch

I use real time telemetry during XP time (license version), but when upgrade to Win7, not function already :(

Madnor, im still using the motecadd after upgrade win7...the thing is u have to email them ur machine ID and they will send u a new license.

woah....lots of response....thanks guys....appreciate your help....actually im installed motec i2 pro 1.05.0013 directly from motec site....and using rFactor Data Acquisition Plugin v1.3.2 Developed by dzRacing from rfactorcentral...but the problem i having now is cannot load the .ldx and .ld from userdata...but if i open the demo template..it can open(same format .ldx & .ld ...

arnaud the 2nd link error 404...i think the patch that i miss to do before do the data acquisition in game...

some advice... if you wanna maximise the telemetry thingy... you have to do lots and consistent laps.
