How to get off the grid fast?

I still no clue on how to have a good start..
currently my way of starting is rev on neutral then gear 1 when green.. but always still end up loosing place off the starting line..

any tips?

U got to rev on neutral on the rpm where the torque is pretty much the highest. Shift to 1st when the light go green and feather the throttle as such to minimise wheel spin.

For f1 cars, u have launch ctrl and starting is not a problem.

2008 n 2009 f1 apparently will not have launch control.

my tips, assign one clucth button, set its sensitivity and try to use it effectively.

probably you can change the ratio of the lower gears to be closer

yup that is true as well, the shorter 1st gear ratio the faster ur acceleration. But beware, race is not about starts. U need to adjust gearing to suit the corners.

im one of those who always always always had the most show off starts. too much wheel spin and smoke ended up losing a few places. wahahahahha. i'll try to apply those above next time ^^

before G25 avail for the masses, i used to run my home made pedals with clutch, always get to overtake a few cars during start, an advantage despite qualifying mid pack or lower thanks to the clutch - but oso depends on how u master the clutch and settings and different cars behave differently bet u all know that

yes clutch button works too
