I presume you have already installed realfeel and understand the file structures.

Before I begin, ffb and force settings is a matter of personal taste. It's how you teach your muscle to identify what certain forces mean and how to react to it. Perhaps at first, it will be quite awkward to switch to something new. But for those only beginning with realfeel, this guide or my settings actually, which is my preference might be of a help to you.

First step is the logitech profiler.

As for the degrees of rotation, it's up to you. Momo user will have it at 270, G25 users may have it until 900. It's up to you. I like doing arms crossing, so my sweetspot is 460 with steer lock degree in game garage settings ranging from 15 - 20 depending on track hairpin requirement.

Note that im on a full force feedback effects, with low forces you will experience realfeel alone without a mix of ISI ffb interfering when you run over kerbs. This is good, but for me immersion wise it's quite dull on me. So how do I solve it, by setting it to full alone will not help, because the rumble strip effect in the controller.ini settings was too harsh too begin with if I set it to full. Hence I edit the controller.ini with settings from GTR2. I like the way GTR2 tells me which are the kerbs and which are the nasty bumps. I attach a CONTROLLER.INI settings for you to replace to yours in user data, your user name folder.

For example:

E:\rFactor\UserData\muaz\

Inside here is the current controller.ini, replacing it will overwrite default ISI ffb with my ffb. This will adjust the rumble strip effect in your game. I favor these setting, you might want to try it. But first do a backup of your folder first.

The rate is pretty much at default.

Last step is to take my realfeelplugin.ini or either you take the number inside and put the figure by yourself or replaceyour .ini with my .ini.

Great start to a thread.

To me, momo user, i will let the caster setting do the centering for me. Momo centering for rfactor and some mods are very2 weak.

I play alot with sensitivity and not everything is at 50%. For example, my throttle are either at 55-65%. This mean that if u put ur foot on the throttle halfway, the throttle input will be actually more than 50%. After 50%, the pedal input is less sensitive. Good for instant reflex on the pedal out of corners but u gotta be prepared for some corrections if ur steer/throttle ratio is not good.

As for sensitivity, some SIM'ers recommended '0' for braking and acceleration for no aids.
What do you guys think?

But I dont have any problem feathering, so it kinda feel weird when I want certain input I got a different input. Again this is a personal thing. Our muscles are different, just test the value and if it of any help than good for you. There is never one solution to problem.

After experimenting with ffb for ctdp, i kinna found a suitable one fer me. Similiar to PCcrazy's setup, i mix 50% isi ffb (on low) with 50% realfeel. U set this in the realfeelplugin.ini on the 'mix percentage' line under CTDP.

I found with the correct setting, ISI FFB can give some good feebacks on weight transfer both front and back. Just a little it on the back ....not too much.

p/s: my throttle axis sensitivity is up to 65% for fast throttle response. The throttle needs faster input as it increase in its travel (u need to step on it harder after few percentage of throttle). U just have to try it to know the difference.

about this realfeel plugin, what does it actually do?
I tried installing the plugin but didn't find any difference... is it really useful?

I dont turn on my log. For this mod, each car have different realfeel setting. Also LeoFFB setting for each car.
LeoFFB is another FFB plugin. It can be used together with RealFeel. Its in rfactorcentral.

U can check the mod's readme for the recommended Realfeel and LeoFFB settings for each car. It includes some basic FFB setup as well.

andy, you will get lost with too much ffb plugin. atm stay with realfeel only.

once you have realfeel on,

you must browse to check for gt cars figure and insert the lines.

in case of the mod we are using, use my attached ini file and replace it with yours.

i have set everything just nicely in the files
