This article is an insight based on seasons of racing in MSR by Mu'az Zakaria. This article will also uncover the reasons to most of the race mistakes and race crashes in MSR.
The gap between the race leader and Maranello55 was never too far and consistent. It is looking as if the decrease in track temp is affecting Mara's pace as Muaz cuts the gap by 0.5s per lap, from over 9 seconds to now just only 5 seconds. But its was Muaz time to pit, and Bonn2020 and arnaud, again.
As Kelvin exits the race, Ryugan overtook Hisham79. The power of the P1 is yet to be tamed by him. He spun on the throttle at the slippery exit of Fagnes. Afif sends one down on RonMD on the start/finish straight and RonMD gets another one from Zul. Kenny is right on his tail now.
Last Friday was MSR's Season 9 Round 3 in the daunting Spa Franchorchamps. It is a true 24 hours track and it is as hard as Suzuka. Despite the layout, the long fast corners are to be taken at the limit at almost all the time to ensure competitive laptimes.
As we all know, the MSR forum board is offline. There are some technicalities that the web team is working very hard to solve. If the members database can be recovered, all will be notified via email when we finally get back online.
Thank you.

The order coming into the night phase is Mara, Muaz and Bonn after a super opening run, With Ryugan 4th losing the car at the chicane, kamal90 is 5th under pressure from Kelvin and Azrink. The fight between Soze and Madnoren is close behind with Antonio is chased by Zul. Piji had a lonely run in 12th, while RonMD is being chased by EvoHahn. Afif is clinging last due to ffb failure.
Last Friday was the 13th where 16 racers brave the Friday fatigue for the challenge of the ever daunting Suzuka. Prior to the race it was expected that the P1s would overcome the P2s in this long, high speed track. But it has been proven otherwise with Muaz and Madnoren dominating the qualifying session. Madnoren as the winner in Rattlesnake started on pole for the sprint but was jumped by Muaz who took the pole for the 90 minutes feature race. Ryugan returned from his long absence with a commanding 3rd on the grid behind Madnoren. Its the debut race for Kelvin, on the ps2 gamepad, starting from 6th place in between Antonio and Maranello55. The best of the P1s, evoHahn started on the 8th spot.
Arnaud reportedly has been kidnapped to his birthday party.
Its Round 1 MSR Season 9 in RattleSnake Point. 15 racers showed up in what to be the first 24 hours race simulation ever for the league. It also the first race where there are 2 categories of cars ran simulteneously, namely LMP1 and LMP2, in the same race.
Maranello55 (LMP2) completed the 20 minutes Qualifying ahead of the pack and started on pole with Madnoren (LMP2) and kamal90 (LMP1)tailing immediately behind. Muaz and Zul, both on the LMP2 came late into the grid and started at the back of pack.
After a very successful and much anticipated F1 2006 mod, the CTDP team has regroup and are currently working on another sought after mod by rFactor single-seater enthusiasts - CTDP F1 2009. Before you start getting excited unpacking your brand spanking new wheel and fire up rFactor straight away to drive at any track and ended up getting disappointed in the end, your wheel must first be calibrated. Your wheel is design in a clever way that it can be calibrated and refined to produce the proper feeling of driving a car. This is so important if you want to get the maximum out of your drive. A properly calibrated wheels convey force feedback that will relates motion, weight, available grip and bumps in a manner that will help a driver calculates his next course of action.
