It was a surprise that the race had even started as just a few hours before the start of first Sprint Qualifying Session, many drivers were reportedly plague with their broadband connections due to the heavy thundershower rain raging around the Peninsular area and getting online was like a distance catch. Those who managed to get online however was stunned by the race official thread in the forum, after realizing that a poll regarding postponing the race had been posted. This was because, there were doubts regarding the Race Admins connection had been affected too. However, 15 minutes prior to the Sprint Race Qualifying, around 15 drivers had already logged on the server and there was no doubt about the race commencing as, Muaz (PCcrazy) who is also one of the league admins, was around that night. "56-laps race wasn't that tiring this time," mentioned race winner, Muaz, as he dominated most of the race despite having to defend against Faizi who was the sole Ferrari based livery car after Nazirull, R1 Australia winner was left out, due to internet connection downtime around his house. "It was really sad and I really didn't want to win by the disappointment of other contenders such as Nazirull, not having to start the race due to internet connection downtime. I had noticed that his pace was competitive and it would be a great race if he joined that night," commented Muaz after the race. Promising 2nd place on the podium, Faizi, was dropped to 14th place at lap 7 and had to crawl his way back up after he had some problems. He had tussle the whole race and manages to finish at 3rd spot after overtaking Azan on the 50th lap. He was even close enough to snatch second position from Azrin but was running out of laps even after a hot pursuit, trying to get close with an average gain of 0.5s. Second place man, Azrin who had started the race on 3rd spot of the grid wasn't actually guranted a podium after he had dropped down to 7th by the first couple of laps. The start was actually more or less carnage, after a spun by Kenny during the start of the race, triggering unwanted collision between other drivers at the back of the grid. |
