Muaz (PCcrazy) has pointed out that the most important aspect when it comes to the race is, the drivers should understand that the first corner is not the checkered flag after the race has just been started. "This was the most significant problem whenever it came to Race Day as certain drivers just can’t seem to control their spirited drive. With cold tyres and brakes, the first corner can actually be one of the best disaster recipe a driver would ever come up with," he highlighted. The seven season veteran and Season 1 Champion isn't denying that rookie drivers entering MSR for the first time would have this problem but he hopes that they will anticipate quickly in terms of understanding how to start a race "properly". "Sometimes their eagerness can be seen as early as the formation lap, hitting or crashing out and damaging the car at the same time. What's more frustrating is when the person he crashed into has been spending the past weeks, trying to find the perfect setup but only to be hampered by an incident whereby someone just can't control his car and rammed the back of someone else. I don't expect rookies to be perfect for the first few races, but I hope I won't be caught up with their 'rookiness'." Apart from the newcomers, there are also a few seasoned drivers who can't just handle the anxiety when it comes to the 'green light’ and in his comment that he would hope that seasoned drivers should have better understanding during a race start. "I just hope that they can control their nerves and not just the steering wheel or else I expect to see a heavy punishment from the Marshaling Team," he added. |
